We are looking for lawyers with that 'something special'.
It will come as no surprise to learn that there is no one Macfarlanes 'type'. In fact, our people are one of the firm's main strengths, reflecting and responding to the varied range of clients and issues with which we deal.
The qualities we look for in our lawyers include strong interpersonal skills, an ambitious, commercial approach and above all a commitment to excellence. A strong academic record is, of course, important: we look for first-class lawyers with a 2:1 degree class or above with outstanding academics.
